It just so happens that I recently received a request to create some simple seasoning blend recipes, such as garlic herb.

You can really customize simple dishes and whip up tasty impromptu dinners using simple blends like this, and I thought it was a very good idea.

There is something about Garlic Herb Seasoning that just about everyone enjoys, and it can be used in a variety of dishes.

Below I’ve listed a long list of ways you can use this all-purpose seasoning blend that you can make with simple spice cabinet basics.

Garlic Herb Seasoning Used For:

This is a spice that can be easily combined with all dishes, from vegetables, meat to seafood dishes.

Of course, it cannot be said that everything is suitable, depending on the particular dish, the recipe is also the location of each region.

Here are a few specific ideas we would like you to try:

  • Make Oven Fries with seasoning
  • Drizzle popcorn with melted butter
  • Bake garlic bread slathered with herb-infused butter with butter over crusty bread
  • Make your bread or pizza garlicky and herby by mixing this into your dough
  • Make a garlicky whipped bagel spread by adding to cream cheese
  • When you roast chicken, use it as a seasoning
  • To roast meat or vegetables, mix with butter or olive oil and coat with this mixture
  • Mix it into your mashed potatoes
  • You can use it to quickly sauté vegetables or shrimp in a hot skillet with butter or olive oil
  • You can combine it with melted butter and toss with pasta or stir into rice
  • Mix it with sour cream for a quick dip for chips or vegetables

Garlic Herb Seasoning Recipe

All-purpose garlic herb seasoning is excellent on meat, seafood, vegetables, pasta, rice, and more! To give your favorite foods a burst of garlicky flavor, add it to all of them.

  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder ($0.02)
  • 1/2 tsp dried basil ($0.05)
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder ($0.02)
  • 1 tsp dried parsley ($.10)
  • freshly cracked pepper ($0.02)
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano ($0.05)
  • 1/4 tsp salt ($0.02)

Using all the ingredients together, mix them well and then either use them right away, or store them in an airtight container away from direct sunlight until they are ready to use.

Some Dishes Use Herb Garlic Seasoning

Roasted chicken breast and vegetables seasoned with garlic herb seasoning on a baking sheet

Potatoes: A serving of 1.5 pounds of potatoes (cut into 1-inch pieces) paired with 1 batch of Garlic Herb Seasoning and one tablespoon of olive oil. Toss to coat, then roast for 30 minutes at 400°F, or until golden brown and crispy (stir once).

Carrots: One pound of baby carrots plus 1/2 batch of garlic herb seasoning plus a tablespoon of olive oil. After tossing to coat, roast at 400°F for 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Pasta: The ingredients used were 1/4 pound pasta, 1 batch of Garlic Herb Seasoning, 2 tbsp of butter, and 1 tbsp of Parmesan cheese.
