According to public records, “Stitches” vocalist and native Canadian Shawn Mendes has established real estate roots in Los Angeles by purchasing a recently renovated estate. With five bedrooms, six restrooms, and approximately 4,000 square feet of living space, this is not your typical starter residence. It also costs a staggering $4,6 mιllιon.

The two-story home was advertised as a distinctly modern depiction of a Parisian villa with French-inspired architectural accents and a mansard roofing when House of Shoor completely restored it this year from the ground up after it was originally completed in the middle of the 1970s.

There are costly marble slabs, intricate stonework, and cream-colored plaster throughout the house, but the kitchen’s center island, coated in hand-applied pleated French clay, is definitely the most eye-catching feature.

The main floor is an open concept floorplan that combines the living, dining, and family rooms into one seamless area, with an abundance of earthy hues and textures. A simple indoor/outdoor living is made possible by custom steel doors that silently slide open.

The house is situated on a 6,200-square-foot lot, which is a normal size in Beverly Grove, a densely populated area of Los Angeles. It has a guesthouse, zero-edge pool, a two-car attached garage, a flat backyard with a green lawn area, and what the seller called a “privacy lounge.”

Numerous large Italian cypress trees that line the entire yard provide added privacy and contribute to the European feel of the property. From the residence, you can run to some of the city’s hippest retail and dining districts.

Mendes, 24, is not new to Los Angeles; he previously lived in Camila Cabello’s Mediterranean-style home in the Hollywood Hills. The three-time Grammy nominee reportedly also maintains a three-bedroom penthouse in an expensive Toronto residential building.
