Late in 2018, Lamorne Morris spent $3.1 mιllιon for a brand-new estate in Tarzana. He told People during a video tour that he intended to stay “for quite some time” after designing the contemporary Spanish-inspired property.
Today, the 38-year-old actor/comedian, best known for playing Winston on “New Girl,” has changed his mind. He relisted it for $5.4 mιllιon.
During his tenure, Morris and his associate Morgan Cleary remodeled the mansion extensively and increased the asking price by $2.8 mιllιon. In the backyard, he constructed a basketball court and eco-friendly vegetation.
On a roughly half-acre property with a large road leading to a two-car garage, the 2018 white stucco and terracotta-roofed house is hidden behind gates and high bushes. The two-story, open-concept home is 5,378 square feet, with five bedrooms and eight bathrooms. A surround-sound home automation system, a fitness center on the patio, and a movie theater are extravagant extras.
The living space features a floor-to-ceiling fireplace, a coffered ceiling, and a double-height entryway. A gourmet kitchen with dual islands, high-end appliances, and a breakfast alcove with a window leads to a family room and dining room with a wet bar and glass wine cabinet. The sliding glass doors by Fleetwood transform the space into an outdoor dining area.
Upstairs, you will find a den, an opulent master suite with a balcony, walk-in closet, and marble-clad bathroom with dual vanities, a steam shower, a soaking tub, and a wood sauna box, as well as a resort-like backyard with a pool, spa, bar, and lounge area with a fire pit. There are also a basketball half-court and a BBQ center.
