Those of us who are cocktail aficionadoes will know that it is a no-brainer, but for the rest of us, this is the perfect cocktail for a daytime cocktail during Thanksgiving.

These apple cider mimosas are the perfect, simple cocktail for the holiday.

The chances are, you already have some apple cider, fresh rosemary and sparkling wine in your house (especially if you are making Cider Roasted Turkey Breast), so pick up a bottle of bubbling wine and you’re ready to go.

Remember to share your experience when drinking this wine with Apronese and everyone you know.

Is There a Sparkline Wine I Should Use?

As far as the sparkling wine is concerned, you can use just about any sparkling wine you have at your disposal, but I prefer a dry or brut sparkling wine since apple cider is already extremely sweet.

Additionally, apple cider has quite a powerful flavor, which is able to help hide subtle flavor differences in your wine as well.

Therefore, you do not need to buy anything that is of exceptionally high quality to enjoy this recipe.

I just bought a bottle of tourner brut sparkling wine from ALDI for $7.49.

Having never heard of sparkling wines before this, if you are confused about which is better, read this article comparing champagne vs. prosecco for an easy understanding.

How Do I Choose the Right Cider?

As mentioned above, this drink is extremely flexible. I used an inexpensive cider in this recipe, but I think it’s fun to use a fresh local cider if that’s something you’d have access to in your area as well.

The cider can also be steeped with mulling spices and chilled before you make the mimosas, so you can experiment with that as well.

You Can Make Your Own Mix

It is easy to make this mimosa drink, but as any mimosa drinker knows, it can be tweaked to fit any preference.

I kept it simple, with a 50/50 ratio of cider to wine, but as any mimosa drinker knows, there are many ways to do that. If you want a glass of sparkling wine with just a splash of cider, then that’s the drink for you.

If you want mostly cider with just a tiny bit of bubbles, then this is the drink for you! It does not require expertise, nor skill to make it.
