Rapper 50 Cent eventually sold his big Connecticut home for $2.9 mιllιon; his true name is Curtis James Jackson III. The home, which is located close to Farmington, some 80 miles from Greenwich, has more than 50,000 square feet of living space and is one of the few in the state with certified grounds for helicopter landing, according to its listing company, Douglas Elliman.
According to the listing, the estate is the epitome of “opulence and luxury” and has 19 bedrooms, 25 bathrooms, and an indoor pool.
A nightclub, an indoor basketball court, a number of game rooms, a green screen room, a recording studio, a complete gym, a conference room, and a home theater are also available.
The 17.6-acre home grounds have a pool, grotto, pond, basketball court, guesthouses, and gardens. The house is located in, and Douglas Elliman’s Jennifer Leahy handled the sale of the home.
The property has not been easy to sell. 50 Cent has been putting in a lot of effort to sell the drug for years. Its selling price is 84 percent lower than its initial asking price from 12 years ago, according to the Wall Street Journal.
Before it was sold, it was advertised on Zillow as available for rent for $100,000 per month. A representative for 50 Cent informed the Wall Street Journal that the rapper’s non-profit organization, the G-Unity Foundation, would receive the proceeds from the sale of the residence.
