Future, whose real name is Nayvadius DeMun Wilburn, is living in an exciting period. In September, the 38-year-old Grammy-winning hip-hop singer/songwriter from Atlanta sold the publishing rights to over 600 titles to investment firm Influence Media Partners for “high eight figures.” He will collaborate with Rihanna on the soundtrack for “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.”
Real estate in the future is also good. According to The Real Deal, he paid $16.3 mιllιon for an almost-new home on Miami Beach’s elite guard-gated Allison Island with a beachfront view from French insurance CEO Laurent Ouazana and his wife Pascale. The property was purchased by the Ouazanas for $12.5 mιllιon in 2020, along with an adjacent parcel that was sold to developers.
In 2020, Future will reside on a quarter-acre gated tract. Palm trees surround the seven-bedroom, nine-bathroom residence with approximately 8,000 square feet of living space, lofty ceilings, walls of glass, and seamless indoor-outdoor spaces. The luxurious features include an elevator, rooftop patio, detached guesthouse, staff accommodations, and a three-car garage.
A large great room with living and dining sections and a contemporary kitchen with custom Ornare cabinetry, a long eat-in island, and top-tier stainless appliances are other highlights.
The upper master bedroom features a balcony, two walk-in closets, a lounging area with a wet bar and wine refrigerator, and an opulent bathroom with double vanities, a spacious glass-enclosed shower, and a freestanding soaking tub.
The resort-like grounds include a pool with an infinity edge, a raised Jacuzzi, an open-air cabana with a kitchen, and numerous outdoor seating and entertaining areas. With a dock and 75 feet of water frontage, there is sufficient room for a luxury yacht.
