Actress Sandra Bullock received $5.6 mιllιon for the sale of her home and avocado farm in Valley Center, California. After being advertised for $6 million in September, the 91-acre property was placed up for sale in just three weeks. It is situated about 40 miles northeast of San Diego. It sold at the beginning of November for $5.6 million, per the listing records.
According to the deed submitted to the county clerk on November 9, the buyer carried out the deal via a limited liability business.
The property has a 5,938-square-foot main home and approximately 1,200 organic avocado trees, according to the listing with Alan Long of Avenue 8, Melissa Russell of Willis Allen Real Estate, and Kay O’Hara of HomeSmart Realty West.
Adobe ranch with a single storey, four bedrooms, six bathrooms, a fireplace, security cameras, and a Crestron smart home system makes up the main residence. According to Mr. Long’s previous statement to Mansion Global, several French doors open to verandas and yards with “the most beautiful pastoral mountain views.”
A manufactured home with three bedrooms and two bathrooms was also featured in the ad. RV connections, a backup generator, solar and electric charging stations, and a saltwater pool with a Jacuzzi are all available on the sprawling property. The property’s landscaping includes flower gardens, eucalyptus, palm, and olive trees, as well as fountains. There is even opportunity for further dwellings, a vineyard, greenhouses, equestrian amenities, or an off-road motocross circuit, according to the description.
